  • Brand New Business Premises !

  • Having experienced substantial growth over recent years, Eddingtons are excited to announce significant investments in their future operations, including a brand new 14,500 sq. foot HQ. The new HQ, a purpose-designed barn renovation on picturesque farmland, has provided spacious new offices, meeting facilities, and showroom, as well as a fully racked, purpose-built warehouse and packing facility, complete with the latest innovations in mechanical handling equipment.


  • Brand New 2008 Catalogue -to be issued in Sept !

  • The exciting new 2008 catalogue, packed full of hundreds of amazing products is currently in production. We are hoping to issue the catalogue to all existing customers in September.


  • Another Impressive Award !

  • At the recent CHA/BHF Direct Diamond Supplier Awards - held on 11th March at the Heart of England Conference Centre in Coventry, Eddingtons were presented with the "Best Turnover Growth 2008" award. The lavish ceremony included lunch followed by fantastic entertainment from a Shirley Bassey impersonator. This is the second consecutive year that Eddingtons have won the award, and adds to a string of successful award nominations. Eddingtons were also finalists in the CHA/BHF "Best Supplier for 2007" category. All employees are extremely proud of the company's achievements and would like to thank customers for their valued, ongoing support.


  • Furi at the Gourmand Cookbook Awards 2008 !

  • The World Cookbook Awards were founded in 1995 and then renamed several years later as the Gourmand Cook Book Awards, ‘to reward and honour’ those who “cook with words”. This years’ prestigious ceremony was hosted in London in April in partnership with The London Book Fair, where the annual "Best in the World" winners were announced. Over 400 guests, winners from the 40 cookbook categories and international celebrity chefs attended. To add international flavour and appeal to an audience of over 23,000 at the London Book Fair, an orchestrated programme of international chefs demonstrated their amazing culinary skills at the Gourmand ‘Cookbook Corner’ using knives from the Füri Max Block and the Füri Grip range. The high profile mixture of the world’s best cookbooks, chefs and knives proved a winning combination.


  • Skeppshult at the Gourmand Cookbook Awards 2008 !

  • Originally founded in 1995, The World Cookbook Awards were later renamed as the Gourmand Cook Book Awards; designed to reward and honour those who ‘cook with words’. This years’ prestigious ceremony was recently hosted in London in a new partnership with The London Book Fair. The "Best in the World" winners were announced to an audience that included over 400 guests, international celebrity chefs and victors from the 40 cookbook categories. To add international flavour and appeal to an audience of over 23,000 at the London Book Fair, an orchestrated programme of international chefs demonstrated their amazing culinary skills at the Gourmand ‘Cookbook Corner’ using a combination of Skeppshult cast iron skillets and casserole pans. The high profile mixture of the world’s best cookbooks, chefs and Skeppshult cast iron proved perfect in combination.


  • Team Sponsorships for 2008 !

  • Cricket- Eddingtons are proud to have taken a very successful Cheshire cricket team under their sponsorship belt and have supplied stylish new training kits for all team members. Oulton Park Cricket Club have had major success in the Cheshire County Premier League - for the last three seasons (2005-2008), Oulton Park have won the ‘English Cricket Board Premiership Trophy’, as well as the ‘Cheshire Cup.’ All club members and supporters have been overwhelmed by the teams’ dedication and success. Captained by Nathan Dumelow, the team contains four members of the Cheshire Minor Counties squad who reached the Minor Country Cup Final hosted at Lords in August 2007. Eddingtons wish Oulton Park, shown below in their newly designed kits, the best of luck in their future matches.
    Cycling - Eddingtons are proud to announce the continued sponsorship of CC Luton. This valuable sponsorship enables the club to offer a club clothing incentive scheme to all racing members. Members compete in varying cycling disciplines including road, mountain bike and cyclo cross races around the UK throughout the year. Theresa Jackson, National Accounts Manager for Eddingtons, last year won the prestigious National Mountain Bike series – Masters category, whilst Gavin Rumbles (The Rumbleator) secured a silver medal at this years National Marathon Mountain Bike Championships in the Veteran category. The small club of approximately 40 members also participates in cyclo sportifs around Europe – most recently, ‘The Marmotte’ – which is considered one of the hardest sportifs in the world, taking in 4 Alpine mountain passes during the 120 mile ride. The club also hosts a memorial road race in memory of one it’s founder members and a winter reliability trial.
