NORDIC GINGERBREAD MAN & GIRL BEECH WOOD BISCUIT MOULD

Made of beechwood from sustainable European forests this beautiful mould of a Christmas Tree & Reindeer is a wonderful gift for your star baker.
The biscuits are the mirror image of the carved wooden moulds they are shaped in, and are inspired by traditional Dutch biscuits called 'Speculaas' which were made using wooden moulds in the shape of windmills.

To use:

• Prepare the moulds by rubbing in some oil to prevent sticking
• Flour can be used during the biscuit making process, to prevent sticking
• Roll out biscuit dough to a thickness that matches the depth of the mould's design
• Cut out a piece of dough roughly the size of the mould and press firmly into it, spreading the dough evenly
• Invert the mould and turn out the dough
• Bake according to recipe
