Excellence In Housewares Awards Finalist
We are thrilled to share that a wide variety of our key brands and products have been announced as finalists at this year's Excellence In Housewares Awards! We are pleased to say that seven Eddingtons' products and ranges have been selected as a finalist for five awards including Excellence in Cookware and The Eco Award.
The winners of the awards will be revealed on Wednesday 6 October of this year, fully endorsed by trade associations Bheta and Bira. The product finalists were decided by a group of retail buyers casting a vote for their favourite. This stellar group of judges voted Bee's Wrap, Lodge, Icebreaker, EarthKind and two of our license ranges as one of their favourites to be a finalist this year.
Excellence in Cookware
Lodge Cast Iron Finex Range has been selected as a finalist for the Excellence in Cookware award. This range one of the most versatile ranges and is brilliant for baking, steaming, braising and simmering. This product features an ergonomic 'speed cool' spring handle whilst being hand-seasoned with organic flax seed oil. The patented octagonal 'multi-pour' design distinguishes it from the rest of the competition!
Excellence in Homewares
The new EarthKind range by Eddingtons specialises in sustainable laundry products that are effective and eco-friendly. This range of products can help reduce the amount of chemicals entering the rivers and oceans and cleans clothes the natural way. Detergents may have a negative affect on all types of aquatic life as most come in plastic containers that are often not reusable or recyclable.
The Licensing Award
Both the Paddington and Peter Rabbit Daisy range have been selected as a finalist for The Licensing Award this year! Both designs have deemed very popular since their launch in the last year and we are thrilled to have two licensed ranges selected. Both ranges supporting vintage designs of the famous characters on a wide range of products from kitchen fabrics and accessories to bakeware and crockery.
The Eco Award
Key brand Bee's Wrap and new composting products by Skaza were recognised as a finalist for The Eco Award this year. An individual product from Bee's Wraps new vegan range was selected alongside the Bokashi Organko composters by Skaza. The new Vegan Wrap Variety 7 Pack by Bee's Wrap features different designs and sizes making it a must-have for packed lunches and on-the-go. The Bokashi Organko composters add some class to your kitchen and by using the special bran, can help grow your houseplants and allotments and minimise food waste.
The Innovation Award
New brand Icebreaker has been selected to be a finalist for The Innovation Award at this year's awards. The Icebreaker POP is a portable icecube tray and was a must-have this Summer! Transport ice from a freezer to a picnic with this clever gadget. Simply freeze, pop and shake!
